Arsenal to offload Nicolas Pepe in January?
Arsenal are likely to offload Nicolas Pepe when the transfer window reopens next month, football.london claims.
The Ivorian has fallen out-of-favour under Mikel Arteta. He has played just seven minutes of first-team football since November.
According to football.london, the club's record signing could be offloaded in January. An initial loan deal could be an option.
Pepe had a terrific end to the previous campaign with five goals in three games, but he has looked far from his best this term.
He has been criticised by some fans for being regularly dispossessed. He is no longer considered as a starter by Arteta.
Pepe has been a regular on the bench in recent months. Gabriel Martinelli has been one of those, who has benefitted.
The Brazilian has made four goal contributions from five games, and he appears set for an extended run in the starting XI.
Aside from Pepe, there are doubts over Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's future after being stripped of captaincy and dropped recently.
