Arsenal have identified Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri as a potential target for the January transfer window.

The Morocco international was in superb form for the Spanish club last season, bagging 24 goals from 52 appearances.

He has struggled to replicate the showing this term amid a muscular injury, but he remains highly-rated by the Gunners.

According to ESPN, the north London giants are eyeing a new striker in January, but are reluctant to spend big.

Both Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette will enter the final six months of their respective contracts next month.

Nketiah has been touted to be sold. Meanwhile, there is also uncertainty over Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's future.

Aubameyang was recently dropped after a discipinary breach. He has not made the squad for the last four matches.

There is speculation that he may have played his final game for the Gunners, and could leave at the turn of the year.

This could force the club to enter the transfer market. En-Nesyri has emerged as a potential target for the club.

Sevilla seem unlikely to sanction a mid-season deal amid their title pursuit. They are eight points behind leaders Real Madrid with a game in hand.
