Arsenal lodge transfer offer for Dusan Vlahovic

Arsenal have reportedly made an approach to sign Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic this month.

The Gunners are currently assessing the future of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has been dropped by Mikel Arteta lately.

There are suggestions that he could be sold in the coming weeks.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Gunners have now made a move for Vlahovic, who has netted 18 goals this season.

The north London giants have proposed to pay €55m alongside Lucas Torreira, who is currently on loan with the Serie A side.

The Florence outfit have the option to buy him for €15m, and the Gunners are hoping to utilise him as part of the negotiations.

Fiorentina are undecided over the proposal, but could be tempted to sell with the striker's contract expiring in 18 months' time.

The final decision, however, will be left to Vlahovic. The 21-year-old is reportedly open to staying until the summer.

Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Manchester City have also been linked with him, and he may prefer a bigger challenge.
