Everton want €25m for Lucas Digne

Chelsea will need to pay at least €25 million to sign Everton defender Lucas Digne this month, Fabrizio Romano reports.

The Blues are currently without Ben Chilwell for the rest of the campaign following his knee ligament surgery.

As a result, the club are eyeing a new left wing-back option. Marcos Alonso is currently the only specialist for the role.

According to Romano, the Blues are keen on landing Digne, who has been deemed surplus to requirements at Everton.

Rafael Benitez confirmed that Digne wants to leave the club, but the Blues are unlikely to land him cheaply this month.

The west London giants are eyeing a loan deal for the Frenchman, but they will need to include an obligation to buy him.

The Toffees are eyeing at least €25m for his services. It remains to be seen whether the Blues will meet the price tag.

They have the option of recalling Emerson from his loan spell at Lyon.
