Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has acknowledged that the club are exploring options in the ongoing transfer window.

The Blues are currently without two of their leading full-backs in Ben Chilwell and Reece James with long-term injuries.

James picked up a hamstring damage in December, and he could be out for action for the best part of two-and-a-half months.

Meanwhile, Chilwell failed to recover from a knee ligament injury. He has been ruled out for the campaign after an operation.

The Blues are looking to sign replacements this month, and Tuchel has confirmed that the club are looking at all possibilities.

They were recently linked with Kieran Trippier, but Newcastle United beat them to his permanent signature from Atletico Madrid.

Everton's Lucas Digne has also been fancied to join the Blues. He is available on loan, but the Toffees will want an obligatory buy clause.

The Frenchman is keen on making the switch to Stamford Bridge. The Blues will need to agree to the Toffees' £25m valuation for his services.
