Liverpool to make bid for Bissouma

Liverpool will make a January transfer bid for Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Yves Bissouma. The 25-year-old Mali international has been with the Premier League side since 2018 and is apparently seeking a move to a bigger club.
According to multiple reports on Monday morning, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will table an official offer for the midfielder and Brighton are expected to receive around £30 million for the former Lille player.
Bissouma, who has played over 100 games in the Premier League for his current club, will have no shortage of options to choose from as both Aston Villa and Tottenham are also rumoured to be monitoring the midfielder's transfer situation.
Graham Potter will be desperate to keep hold of one of the star player's that has helped boost the South Coast side's profile in recent years, but will find it difficult to persuade Bissouma to stay as the club will be unable to match a salary that Liverpool are able to pay.
Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard is also known to be a fan of Bissouma, and has been given £80 million to spend on new players in the January transfer window.
