Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel open to midfielder exit
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has opened the possibility of Ross Barkley leaving the club during the ongoing transfer window.
The midfielder has struggled for regular game time this term, and he has been r restricted to just 12 appearances across all competitions.
He was not in the matchday squad for the recent win over Chesterfield which has led to serious questions whether he could be leaving.
When asked for an update, Tuchel was unsure over Barkley's future, and said that a departure will depend on the stance of the Englishman.
He said :"We haven't discussed it yet [loan deal]. It depends what Ross wants and what possibilities there are and what makes sense. Let's see."
Everton have been linked with a possible loan deal. Barkley graduated through the Toffees ranks before making 179 appearances.
He left them for the Blues four years ago, but he has since made just 98 appearances, nearly half of those have come off the bench.
