Ousmane Dembele on his way to Chelsea?

Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele could be on his way to Chelsea before the transfer deadline on Monday night.

The 24-year-old has entered the final six months of his contract, and has no plans of putting pen-to-paper on a fresh deal.

Hence, the Catalan giants are prepared to sell him for around €18m. It is now reported that he could be heading to England.

Two unnamed Premier League clubs have expressed an interest, and they could also meet his wage demands of £210,000-a-week.

Chelsea have been heavily linked with Dembele's services in the last few months. Thomas Tuchel recently spoke fondly of him.

The German tactician managed Dembele for a single campaign at Dortmund before he made the big-money move to Barcelona.

His time in Catalonia has been hampered by several injuries that have restricted him to 129 appearances in all competitions.

Despite his injury woes, he remains highly admired by top European clubs. The Blues could be in the mix to land his signature.
