Barcelona set to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Barcelona are set to land the signature of Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, The Athletic reports.
The Gabon international has fallen out-of-favour with the Gunners over the past few months following a disciplinary breach.
He has no future under manager Mikel Arteta, and it is now reported that the Blaugrana are set to land him on a short-term loan.
The 32-year-old is keen to join the Catalan giants, and the deal is expected to materialise before the transfer deadline tomorrow.
The Gunners won't demand any loan fee, but the Blaugrana will pay a major chunk of the player's £350,000-a-week wages.
Aside from Aubameyang, there has been speculation that Eddie Nketiah could head for the exit door on deadline day.
Nketiah is currently attracting interest from Crystal Palace and Newcastle United. The latter could be favourites to land his services.
The Magpies have already initiated talks with the Gunners, and they are likely to cash in as his contract expires in the summer.
