Aouchiche set for Man City move?

French youth international Adil Aouchiche is being considered by Premier League giants Man City in a surprise January transfer deadline day deal. Aouchiche is considered one of the brightest prospects in Ligue 1, having forced his way in to current club St-Etienne's squad despite being just 19-years-old.

The former Paris St Germain youngster move to Les Verts in 2020 and has since gone on to play over 50 times for the French side, and has appeared for France's under-20 side last year.

Man City are said to be looking for a long-term replacement for Bernardo Silva and Aouchiche is amongst those names being recommended by Pep Guardiola's scouting team.

The youngster, who wears the number 17 shirt at City, is valued by his current club in excess of 20 million euros and Guardiola's side are ready to ensure they secure one of Europe's top younger attacking midfielder's before interest arrives from Premier League rivals.

Aouchiche himself admitted last week in an interview with French media that he would consider a move away from the club, seemingly putting himself in the shop window for a January transfer move.
