Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel had no plans of pursuing any players during the recently-concluded transfer window.

The west London giants were linked with several players in January, but did not make any signings in the end.

A new left wing-back was one of the targets for the Blues, but they were unable to sign Lucas Digne on a temporary basis.

Meanwhile, they tried to recall Emerson from his loan stint at Lyon, but failed to negotiate a suitable compensation fee.

It is now reported that Tuchel did not have a 'burning desire' to make any big-name signings during the transfer window.

The German was content to stay patient until the summer where the Blues could step up their interest in their top targets.

Sevilla's Jules Kounde continues to remain on their radar while the club have also been touted to land Aurelien Tchouameni.

Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele could be another target for the Blues. Tuchel previously managed him at Borussia Dortmund.
