Barcelona in regular talks with Chelsea star

Barcelona are in regular contact with the representatives of Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta.

Azpilicueta would ideally prefer a two-year deal with the option to extend for another campaign mutually.

The Blaugrana are willing to meet his demands, and Mundo Deportivo claims that there is regular contact.

The Blues captain is in no rush to make a decision, but the Blaugrana are firmly placed to sign him this summer.

Chelsea are still hopeful of keeping him, but they may need to reconsider their contract terms to prolong his stay.

The Blues face a similar situation with Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen whose deals expire in June.

The latter has been widely tipped to join Barcelona after making a surprise U-turn by snubbing a contract extension.
