Barcelona have already made a contract offer to Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta, reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano claims.

The Spaniard has been with the Blues for nearly a decade, but he could leave when his contract expires this summer.

The Blues have not ruled out keeping him but they are reluctant to hand him a multi-year contract to commit his future.

On the contrary, Barcelona have offered a two-year deal to the versatile defender with the option for 12 months.

Azpilicueta has yet to make a decision over his future, but the Blaugrana are pushing to finalise a pre-contract deal.

The Catalan giants are also in negotiations with Blues defender Andreas Christensen over a potential free transfer.

The Dane has declined to extend his deal beyond June, and has his sights on joining the La Liga giants this summer.

Aside from the duo, Antonio Rudiger could likewise leave the west London club with his contract also expiring on June 30.
