Arsenal interested in signing Atletico Madrid star?

Arsenal have reportedly enquired over the availability of Atletico Madrid's Joao Felix ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Portuguese is currently in his third campaign with the Spanish giants, but he has yet to live up to the initial expectations.

There was lot of hype when he was signed for a staggering £105m, but he has bagged just 23 goals and 14 assists in 100 games.

According to OK Diario, Atletico boss Diego Simeone is prepared to sanction the forward's sale at the end of the campaign.

The Argentine has his sights on pursuing Valencia's Goncalo Guedes, and is willing to allow Felix's exit for a reasonable fee.

There are no formal offers on the table at the moment, but the Gunners have made contact with his agent over a summer move.
