Chelsea plan shock swoop for Man City attacker
Chelsea are planning a surprise move for Manchester City attacker Riyad Mahrez during the summer transfer window.
The Blues are currently third in the Premier League standings, but their performances have been far from convincing.
While their defence has been solid for most of the campaign, the same can't be said about the attacking department in recent months.
Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech, Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic have been among the goals, but they have been inconsistent.
According to Foot Mercato, the Blues now have their sights on landing Mahrez, who could leave the Cityzens this summer.
The Algerian has netted a stunning 21 goals this campaign, but he is far from pleased with his lack of regular Premier League starts.
This could see him head for the exit door. The Cityzens are willing to sell him for around £33m, but the Blues face competition.
Paris Saint-Germain are also keeping tabs on the Premier League winner as they look to replace Angel di Maria ahead of next season.
