Chelsea handed double injury boost for Norwich trip
Chelsea have been handed a double injury boost ahead of the Premier League meeting against Norwich City on Thursday.
The Blues have won three league games on the trot. They should be overwhelming favourites to extend the run at Carrow Road.
Ahead of the game, they have been handed a timely boost with the availability of Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso in team training.
Azpilicueta was ruled out of the Burnley trip with a minor injury while Alonso was left out of the squad after testing positive for Covid-19.
However, both players were spotted in Monday's training session, and should be fancied to make the matchday squad against the Canaries.
Azpilicueta may stay on the bench, but there is a good chance that Alonso may get picked ahead of Saul Niguez in the left wing-back role.
Saul had a poor outing against the Clarets where he was regularly out of position while struggling to provide quality crosses into the box.
