Manchester United interested in French striker
Manchester United are keeping a close watch on Lyon striker Moussa Dembele ahead of the summer, Manchester Evening News reports.
The Frenchman has had an injury-plagued campaign with Les Gones, but has still impressed with nine goals from 19 league outings.
It is now reported that United have an interest in the 25-year-old, though they are yet to make any kind of approach for his services.
Dembele has been regularly linked with a Premier League move. He came close to joining Tottenham when he was at Fulham.
He has since been linked with the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal while United have also been long-term admirers of his abilities.
They now appear to have revived their interest with Edinson Cavani expected to leave the club when his contract expires this summer.
Dembele has less than 16 months remaining on his Lyon deal. It has been reported recently that he could be sold for around €25 million.
United are bound to face competition from other Premier League sides. West Ham United are desperate to land a new striker for next season.
