Mikel Arteta confirms availability of Arsenal attacker
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed the availability of Emile Smith Rowe ahead of Sunday's Premier League meeting against Leicester City.
The England international has been sidelined for the past few games due to coronavirus, but he has been deemed fit for this weekend's clash.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Arteta confirmed that Smith Rowe has had a couple of training sessions, and will be available for Sunday.
However, the Spaniard was still uncertain over the fitness of Takehiro Tomiyasu, who has been nursing a calf problem for several weeks.
He was close to making his comeback last month, having made the bench against Brentford. However, he ended up with another setback.
Ahead of the Foxes game, Arteta said that the club are assessing the right-back's fitness. It is unclear whether he will make the matchday squad.
The Gunners are presently fourth in the standings with 48 points, one ahead of Manchester United, who have played three games more than them.
