Predicted Man Utd line-up vs Spurs today

Manchester United host Tottenham Hotspur in today's late Premier League kick-off at Old Trafford. The Red Devils have the chance to leapfrog Arsenal into the fourth position in the standings with a victory.

Predicted Line-up:

David de Gea has been hugely influential between the sticks, making several stand-out saves. He could have another busy game against the in-form duo of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.

The defence could see a couple of changes. Aaron Wan-Bissaka was poor in the heavy Manchester derby defeat. Diogo Dalot is widely expected to replace him in the right-back position.

Raphael Varane is fit after a bout of coronavirus. Considering Harry Maguire's struggles this term, most United fans would ideally fancy Victor Lindelof partnering Varane in central defence.

Alex Telles is expected to continue at left-back with Luke Shaw out of contention due to coronavirus. In midfield, Fred could be partnered by Paul Pogba, who has played in a more advanced role lately.

Jadon Sancho has five goal contributions over the past month. He should be an assured starter on the left wing. Elsewhere, Bruno Fernandes is expected to start in his preferred number 10 role with Anthony Elanga aside him.

Marcus Rashford has barely impressed off the bench recently which should see Elanga keep his place on the right wing. The youngster has netted twice since becoming a regular after the winter break.

Cristiano Ronaldo was a surprise absentee for the derby with a hip issue, but has been deemed fit to face Spurs. The Portuguese has excelled against them with 11 goals and six assists from 19 games. He should lead the line.

Predicted Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Dalot, Lindelof, Varane, Telles; Fred, Pogba; Elanga, Fernandes, Sancho; Ronaldo.
