Liverpool striker expected to leave this summer
Liverpool striker Divock Origi is expected to leave the club when his contract expires in June, Fabrizio Romano claims.
The Belgian has been a fringe player for the Reds over the years, and he is now eyeing a fresh challenge elsewhere.
Origi has received several foreign offers but according to Romano, AC Milan are the front-runners to land him.
The Rossoneri currently have several strikers in their ranks, but they are looking into the long-term future.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is already 40 while Olivier Giroud is not getting any younger. He will be 36 next season.
Origi, who is just 26, has been handed the opportunity to establish himself as a leading striker for the Rossoneri.
A deal appears close to completion, and only time will tell whether he can prove himself at the San Siro giants.
Aside from Origi, there could be several other players leaving the Reds this summer including Takumi Minamino.
Minamino has also struggled to secure regular game time.
