Serie A giants want to sign Conor Gallagher

Serie A giants Juventus and Inter Milan are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher, according to The Sun.

The Blues graduate has enjoyed a terrific loan season at Crystal Palace, bagging eight goals and five assists from 30 games.

His form has already earned him his debut with the England national side, but it is unclear whether he has a future at Chelsea.

Thomas Tuchel has talked about a future role for the midfielder, but he may not stay if there is no assurance of regular game time.

In such a case, Palace may attempt to sign him permanently, but they may not have the financial power to compete with bigger clubs.

Both Juventus and Inter are keen on luring Gallagher to the Serie A. The midfielder could be tempted by the opportunity.

Chelsea are currently not permitted to deal with transfers amid sanctions on owner Roman Abramovich, but it could change soon.

The club are in the process of a takeover. The change of ownership will permit the Blues to continue all of their paid operations.

They are currently not looking to part ways with Gallagher, but a significant fee in the region of £40 million could tempt them to do business.
