Martin Satriano tracked by Arsenal scouting network
Arsenal have deployed their head scout to monitor the performances of Uruguayan striker Martin Satirano. The 21-year-old has caught the eye while on loan at French side Brest, scoring four goals in 12 games since his arrival at the beginning of the year.
The powerful forward's parent club, Inter Milan, have slapped a 20 million euro price tag on the youth prospect, and that is unlikely to deter Arsenal from making a move this summer. With the Gunners set to revamp their attack with the likely departure of Alexandre Lacazette in July, Arsenal are short of attacking talent. There also remains question marks over the long-term future of English striker Eddie Nketiah, who has recently forced his way into the club's first team.
There is not a striker in Europe that Arsenal have not been linked with, and technical director Edu is said to be ready to open discussions with Inter Milan as soon as next week with regards to a move for Satriano.
Satriano arrived at Inter in January 2020 from Uruguayan side Nacional, and his boyhood club will also receive a payday of around 10 percent of the total fee should the striker move to Arsenal.
