Arsenal agree personal terms with 25-year-old striker
Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus ahead of a summer transfer.
The Brazilian is the Gunners' number one target to bolster the frontline, and Football Insider claims that personal terms have been finalised.
The north London club will now proceed to negotiate a suitable fee with the Cityzens. It has been reported that he could cost around £50 million.
The Gunners are likely to negotiate on the price, but they may need to act fast to avoid potential competition from some of their European rivals.
Real Madrid apparently like the prospect of signing Jesus, but a deal is unlikely, given their non-EU positions have already been filled.
Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid have rejected the offer from Jesus' representative. Arsenal, for now, are the clear favourites to secure his services.
Jesus is also said to welcome a move to the Emirates Stadium this summer despite the club failing to qualify for next season's Champions League.
Aside from Jesus, the Gunners are prioritising a move for Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans. He could be available for £25-30 million.
