Chelsea and Man Utd want to sign Dutch star

Chelsea and Manchester United could compete for the services of Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries this summer.

The Netherlands international joined Inter Milan from PSV after Euro 2020, and had an excellent debut season with five goals and seven assists from 45 appearances.

However, he could be on the move this summer, considering the Nerazzurri need to balance their books. They are looking for around £26m.

Chelsea want to find a suitable competitor for Reece James with Cesar Azpilicueta keen on leaving the club for Barcelona this summer.

Dumfries has been earmarked as the top target, but the west London giants are set to face stiff competition from the Red Devils for him.

The Mancunian giants are eyeing an upgrade on Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The latter has been tipped to leave the club soon.

Ten Hag has personally asked for Dumfries' services, and United could be favourites to sign him as the player also prefers to join them.
