Man Utd flop on his way to Tottenham Hotspur?
Barcelona attacker Memphis Depay could reportedly make the switch to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
The Netherlands international joined the Catalan giants on a free transfer last summer, but had a mixed debut season amid injuries.
He was still a key player for them, but there are doubts over his future after the signings of Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha.
Both players are expected to command regular starts, and Depay could be left warming the bench ahead of the winter World Cup.
According to Sport, Spurs are keen on signing the 28-year-old as they look to fill the void left by the departure of Steven Bergwijn.
They are prepared to pay around €17 million for his services, but Barcelona are said to be looking for €20m to sanction his departure.
Depay has entered the final year of his Blaugrana contract, and the Catalans are bound to consider his sale unless a renewal is agreed.
Depay previously flopped with Manchester United in the Premier League, but may want a second chance with Spurs to redeem himself.
