Everton keen on Kyle Walker-Peters

Everton have contacted Southampton regarding the availability of full-back Kyle Walker-Peters, as the Toffees look set to table a £30 million bid for the ex-Tottenham defender. Walker-Peters has impressed since completing a permanent move to the South Coast, and it is understood a deal could be reached to move away from Southampton before the end of July.

Everton manager Frank Lampard is an admirer of Walker-Peters, and the Goodison Park outfit are looking to bolster their defence ahead of the new season, as Seamus Coleman's time as first-choice defender appears to be coming to an end.

25-year-old Kyle Walker-Peters is a prized asset for ralph Hasenhuttl's club, but the lure of an enormous transfer package could be difficult for the St Mary's outfit to turn down.
