Chelsea agree personal terms with Leicester City star
Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana over a summer transfer.
The Blues recently missed out on signing centre-back Jules Kounde, and they have now turned their attention to Fofana.
According to Ignazio Genuardi, the London giants have agreed personal terms with him, but still need to convince the Foxes.
The Midlands outfit committed Fofana to a new long-term deal this year, and have no plans of losing him this summer.
However, the Blues remain optimistic of convincing them. It is claimed that a bid of over £70m could test the Foxes' resolve.
The Foxes have yet to make a signing during the ongoing transfer window, and they need to sell players to recoup funds.
Youri Tielemans has been frequently linked with a summer exit with interest from the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United.
Fofana has not been on the transfer radar for weeks, but Chelsea will be hoping to take advantage of the Foxes' situation.
