Arsenal agree goalkeeper sale to London club
Arsenal have reached an agreement with Fulham for the sale of goalkeeper Bernd Leno, The Athletic report.
The German was initially keen on leaving the Gunners in January this year, but the club were reluctant to sell him.
However, they have now decided to sanction his sale to the Cottagers, having signed Matt Turner as his replacement.
With under a year left on his contract, the north London giants have accepted a cut-price deal of £8 million for Leno.
In recent weeks, the German has been linked with Bundesliga clubs, but he has made the decision to continue in London.
Fulham have been relegated in their previous two top-flight campaigns, and Leno will be hoping to save them this time.
Aside from Leno, Lucas Torreira is on the cusp of leaving Arsenal. The Gunners have agreed a £6m fee with Galatasaray.
There could be several more departures over the coming weeks as the club plan for a late spending spree on a couple of signings.
