Tottenham reach agreement for Destiny Udogie

Tottenham have agreed a transfer fee with Udinese for left-back Destiny Udogie, with the Italy under-21 international set to spend the new season on loan. In 2023 the player will return to White Hart Lane, and is expected to challenge for a place on the left side of the club's defence.
19-year-old Udogie will pen a six year deal with Spurs, and Udinese will receive a reported 20 million euros as part of the deal that sees the defender move to North London.
Udogie spent last season on loan at Udinese from Hellas Verona, before the Udine side opted to make a permanent deal for Udogie complete.
It is understood that the defender will spend the coming season on loan back at Udinese as part of the deal that brings the player to White Hart Lane.
Spurs have stolen a march on their Premier League rivals Everton and Man Utd in securing a deal for Destiny, as both submitted offers to Udinese to acquire the defender's contract.
Spurs' sporting director, Fabio Paratici, is a huge fan of the player and will be delighted to have secured a deal.
