Pablo Mari to move from Arsenal to Monza on loan
Arsenal defender Pablo Mari is on the verge of completing a loan move away from North London to join Italian side Monza. Pablo Mari has been told that he is no longer required at the Emirates Stadium, and the Spaniard will now move elsewhere in search of regular first team football.
The Serie B side are looking to add players to their squad as they push for a top flight promotion challenge this season, and Mari, who spent last campaign on loan at Udinese is now set for a return to Italy.
The centre-back, who had spells with Flamengo in Brazil, as well as a short period at Man City as a youth player, is seeking a new challenge after manager Mikel Arteta informed the Spaniard that he was surplus to requirements.
Arteta has brought William Saliba back to the Emirates, and he had a man of the match display against Crystal Palace last weekend in the first game of the Premier League season.
Arsenal are no longer short of defensive assets and Pablo Mari looks set for a move elsewhere.
