Arsenal table official bid for Yeremy Pino
Arsenal have made an official bid for 19-year-old winger Yeremy Pino, who currently plays for Villarreal in La Liga. The Yellow Submarines are coached by former Gunners boss Unai Emery, and the manager is said to be ready to let Yeremy leave if a club matches the reported 40 million euro valuation.
Yeremy has emerged through Villarreal's youth ranks since his arrival from Las Palmas in 2017 and has quickly become a fan favourite, appearing in 31 La Liga games last season with a return of six goals. Already, despite just being 19, Pino has clocked up 77 full appearances for Villarreal's first team.
Liverpool were amongst the clubs monitoring Yino's transfer situation, but according to Spanish news outlet AS, Arsenal will win the race to sign his coveted signature. Pino has a minimum fee transfer release clause of £67.5 million, but Villarreal are ready to accept bids lower than that amount this summer.
Pino can play anywhere across the midfield, but playing on the right is his known preferred position.
The right wing wonderkid has already appeared 4 times for Spain's national team, scoring one goal.
