Everton star interested in joining Chelsea
Everton midfielder Anthony Gordon has informed manager Frank Lampard that he would like to join Chelsea this summer.
The Blues expressed their interest in the 21-year-old earlier this month, and they have since made two bids to secure his services.
Their latest offer of around £45m has been rejected, and it has been claimed that the Toffees want at least £50m for their graduate.
According to The Telegraph, the young midfielder is now keen on joining Chelsea, and has informed his desire to the manager.
He is now hopeful that the west London giants will come up with an improved third offer that will meet the reported price tag.
Everton have had Financial Fair Play concerns to deal with in the past, and they are unlikely to block Gordon's exit for the right price.
The funds gained could be used by Lampard for a late spending spree. Everton could yet sign someone from Chelsea in a separate deal.
Michy Batshuayi, Billy Gilmour, Conor Gallagher and Armando Broja are among players that are on the radar of the Toffees manager.
