Man Utd confident of landing Brazilian star
Manchester United are confident of landing the services of Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro, according to The Telegraph.
The Red Devils have spent much of the summer trying to sign Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona, but have failed to convince him.
They now have their sights on landing Casemiro from Real Madrid, and it is reported that the player has given the green light for the move.
United initially offered £50 million to Los Blancos for the Brazilian, but they have now agreed to meet the reported £60m asking price.
The Red Devils are now confident of signing Casemiro in the coming days, but he may not be registered in time to face Liverpool.
United have made a horrendous start to the campaign with two straight losses, and are currently rooted to the bottom of the table.
This has led to a transfer emergency, and it is claimed that there could be four more signings before the transfer window slams shut.
