Chelsea in advanced talks to sign Aubameyang

Chelsea are in advanced talks with Barcelona to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The west London giants have made a poor start to their Premier League season with just four points from three matches.

The Blues have lacked the cutting edge in the final third, but this could soon be sorted by the arrival of Aubameyang.

The 33-year-old left Arsenal for Barcelona in February this year, but he is now set for a swift return to English football.

Barcelona were eyeing £30m for his services, but have now agreed to sell for £19m plus £3.5m in form of add-ons.

Aubameyang should be a quality acquisition for the Blues, considering his vast Premier League experience at Arsenal.

He scored nearly 100 goals for the north London giants, and should be a quality short-term signing for the Blues.

Aubameyang is set to become Chelsea's seventh signing of the transfer window and will take their summer spending to £200m.
