Arsenal want to sign Wilfried Zaha?
Arsenal could make a shock move to sign Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, according to Dean Jones.
The Ivorian was a top target for the Gunners three years ago, but they were put off by the £80m transfer valuation.
They instead chose to sign Nicolas Pepe from Lille for £72m, but the 27-year-old has proved a huge flop for them.
Pepe has now joined Nice on a season-long loan, and Jones claims that the Gunners could make a fresh bid for Zaha.
The 29-year-old continues to remain in the prime of his career, and he could be available for cheap this time around.
Zaha's current deal with Palace expires at the end of the season, and it won't be a surprise if the club are tempted to sell.
However, the Gunners may still need to offer around £25m. It remains to be seen whether they make a formal approach.
Zaha previously confirmed that manager Unai Emery wanted him at Arsenal.
