McTominay won't be loaned out by United

Manchester United have no plans of losing Scott McTominay on a temporary basis this summer, The Mail report.

The Scotland international has started in the holding midfield role in the last two games, but his future with the club remains uncertain.

Casemiro is expected to make the position his own in future while Erik ten Hag also has Fred, who has excelled playing with his compatriot.

Amidst this, there have been suggestions that McTominay could be loaned out, but The Mail report that United won't accept such an agreement.

Newcastle United recently proposed to land him on loan with Martin Dubravka moving the other way, but the offer has already been rejected.

Only a bid in the region of £30m could tempt United to sell McTominay.

West Ham United were linked with him earlier this month, but a deal seems unlikely after their huge outlay to land Lucas Paqueta from Lyon.

The Hammers have agreed to pay £50m to sign the Brazilian star.
