Chelsea handed double injury boost for West Ham clash
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has confirmed a double injury boost ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash against West Ham United.
The Blues were without Reece James against Southampton through illness while Ruben Loftus-Cheek was replaced at half-time with a hamstring injury.
Both players have been able to recover from their respective concerns and Tuchel has confirmed that the midfield duo are fit and available for selection.
Chelsea completed two deadline day signings in Denis Zakaria and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but neither of them will feature in the derby.
Zakaria has yet to receive international clearance while Aubameyang could be out of action for around three or four weeks due to a fractured jaw.
The Gabon star will need a mask to begin training next week, and may not return to contact training until after the September international break.
Elsewhere, N'Golo Kante continues to remain on the sidelines with a hamstring injury. He is out for another three weeks at least.
