Chelsea to swoop for Inter star Milan Skriniar?
Chelsea have been touted to sign Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar when the transfer window reopens this winter.
The Slovakian has entered the final year of his contract with the Nerazzurri and he is free to discuss terms with foreign clubs in January.
Paris Saint-Germain are obviously the front-runners to land his services, but Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Chelsea could also be keen.
The London giants were eyeing three central defenders this summer, but managed to land just two in Wesley Fofana and Kalidou Koulibaly.
Skriniar has now emerged as an option for the Blues. They have the chance to sign him for a cut-price fee during the January transfer window.
Inter wanted a staggering €70 million for Skriniar over the summer, but they could now accept a reduced fee in the region of €30 million.
Manchester City were also linked with the 27-year-old recently, but seem unlikely to enter the race, having signed Manuel Akanji from Dortmund.
