Graham Potter confirms triple Chelsea injury blow for Villa trip
Chelsea manager Graham Potter has confirmed a triple injury blow ahead of the Premier League clash against Aston Villa on Sunday.
The Blues have been without Wesley Fofana for the past few games with a knee injury and Potter has now confirmed that he won't play until next year.
Meanwhile, compatriot N'Golo Kante sustained a fresh hamstring injury this month and he appears set to miss the World Cup for France as a result.
Apart from the duo, Potter revealed that Reece James has gone to see a specialist to find out whether he requires a surgery for his knee injury.
Things are not looking good at the moment and James could join Kante in missing out on the upcoming World Cup finals being held in Qatar.
That would be a huge blow for England as well with Kyle Walker also facing a race against time after undergoing a groin surgery recently.
Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold is another right-back, who is currently on the sidelines, nursing an ankle problem sustained last week.
