Graham Potter praises two Chelsea stars after Villa win
Chelsea manager Graham Potter heaped praise on Kepa Arrizabalaga and Mason Mount following the club's 2-0 win at Aston Villa.
The Blues made it five straight wins in all competitions earlier today, but their performance was not fully convincing.
Mason Mount scored a goal in either half for the Blues, but he was partially assisted by mistakes from Villa's end.
On the other hand, Arrizabalaga continued his recent run of good form between the sticks with some crucial saves.
Speaking after the game, Potter praised the duo saying: "We needed Kepa then and he made some fantastic saves.
"Again Mason’s made the difference, but I thought we did better in the second half. It was more stable."
Chelsea remain fourth on the league table with 19 points, but they have now increased their advantage over Manchester United.
The Red Devils are now three points behind the Blues in the race for the final Champions League group stage spot for next season.
