Arsenal and Chelsea want Liverpool midfielder?
Arsenal and Chelsea are keeping tabs on Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita whose contract expires at the end of the campaign.
The Guinea international has been with the Reds for the past four years, but has made just 117 appearances amid injuries.
The pattern has continued this season following a hamstring injury and he has only recently returned to first-team training.
According to Liverpool Echo, Reds manager Jurgen Klopp would like to keep Keita and believes he is an indispensable figure when fit.
However, the 27-year-old has yet to commit his future to the Merseysiders and wants assurances over a certain number of starts.
While the stand-off continues, it is claimed that Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on the situation.
Keita picked up his hamstring injury in the Community Shield, but he should make his comeback before the World Cup interval.
It remains to be seen whether the Reds will consider his departure in January, suppose he continues to snub an extension.
