Tottenham join Man Utd in race to sign Bayern Munich star
Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined Manchester United in the race to sign Bayern Munich striker Eric Choupo-Moting.
The Red Devils are preparing for Cristiano Ronaldo's departure this winter and they want a low-cost replacement for him.
Choupo-Moting, whose contract expires next summer, is a target for them, but 90min claim that Spurs are also interested.
The north London giants want more attacking ammunition in January as they aim to push for another top-four league finish.
It remains to be seen whether Bayern will consider selling the 33-year-old if he refuses to sign a fresh contract with them.
Choupo-Moting has been in stellar form for Bayern this season, registering 10 goals and three assists from 14 matches.
He is expected to feature for Cameroon at the World Cup and only after then will a decision be made over his club future.
There is a high possibility that he will pen an improved deal with Bayern rather than returning to the Premier League.
