Adrian Rabiot wanted by Premier League duo
Premier League sides Tottenham and Everton are monitoring the form of French international midfielder Adrien Rabiot, with Spurs said to be leading the race to sign the Juventus star. Rabiot has been playing in Serie A since 2019 and is looking for a transfer to England next summer.
The Frenchman scored a goal last week in the World Cup 4-1 win over Australia, and then also made an appearance against Denmark in yesterday's game against their European rivals.
For several years Rabiot has been linked with a transfer to the Premier League, and finally next summer it is likely the defensive midfielder will get his wish.
Everton are ready to bolster their squad with new signings should Frank Lampard guarantee Premier League status, with a rumoured budget of close to £100 million set aside for new signings.
Rabiot would be available for a fee of around £40 million if sold in January, and has a reported 2 and a half years remaining on his contract at the Turin side.
Tottenham manager Antonio Conte is a fan of Rabiot, and will also be monitoring the player's situation.
