Man Utd centre-back heading for summer exit

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire is likely to leave the club at the end of the campaign, according to The Mail.

The centre-back has struggled for playing time this term and he was recently on the bench with Luke Shaw starting in central defence.

Rio Ferdinand has urged him to consider a new challenge and The Mail claim that he could be heading for the exit door in the summer.

The Red Devils paid a huge £80 million to sign him from the Foxes, but they are unlikely to receive more than £40m for his sale.

West Ham United and Everton could be among clubs that could make an approach to sign him when the season concludes.

United are already looking into a replacement for the England star. They have their sights on Napoli defender Kim Min-jae.

The South Korean has a £40m release clause in his contract which will be active for foreign clubs between July 1 and July 15.
