Joao Felix arrives in London for Chelsea medical
Atletico Madrid midfielder Joao Felix has reportedly travelled to London to undergo his Chelsea medical today.
The Portuguese has been in-and-out of the line-up at the Spanish giants this term and he has now decided to join the Blues on loan.
Arsenal and Manchester United were also interested in him, but the Blues had the edge over the duo after meeting Atletico's demands.
The west London giants have agreed a loan fee of 11 million euros and they are expected to pay his wages for the rest of the season.
Fabrizio Romano has now confirmed that the Portuguese has travelled to the English capital to undergo a series of medical tests.
If he is registered by the Blues by 12pm tomorrow, he could be available for selection against Fulham on the road on Thursday.
Felix could be drafted straight into the line-up by the manager, considering the recent injuries for Christian Pulisic and Raheem Sterling.
The duo are set to be sidelined for a number of weeks.
