Championship side want Man Utd winger on loan
Championship side Watford have expressed an interest in signing Manchester United winger Facundo Pellistri on loan for the rest of the season.
The Uruguayan star has been with the Red Devils since the summer of 2020, but he only made his debut against Charlton Athletic yesterday.
Pellistri came on for the final five minutes of the Carabao Cup quarter-final and made an instant impact with an assist for Marcus Rashford.
Following the game, manager Erik ten Hag was full of praise for him, but there are now suggestions that he could leave the club on loan.
Hornets manager Slaven Bilic is keen on improving his club's promotion bid and wants to sign the highly-rated winger on a temporary deal.
However, they are not the only club interested. Valencia are also said to be keen on Pellistri and are open to landing him on a permanent basis.
Pellistri was signed from Penarol for £8 million. If United were to sell him this month, they may want a profit on the transfer fee invested.
