Wolves enter talks to sign Pablo Sarabia
Wolves have opened discussions with Paris St Germain to sign Spain international Pablo Sarabia. The former Real Madrid, Getafe and Sevilla attacking midfielder move to PSG in 2019 and has played 64 Ligue 1 games, scoring 11 goals, and looks set to become one of Wolves' major signings of the January transfer window.
Julen Lopetegui is seeking creative midfield additions this month, and believes Sarabia could be the best option available for the price, with PSG reportedly quoting the Molineux outfit a fee of around 14 million euros to sign the 30-year-old. Wolves have already signed Matheus Cunha from Atletico Madrid, and could follow that swiftly with a move for another midfielder.
With just 18 months remaining on the player's deal, Wolves are hopeful they can beat interest from the Bundesliga to sign the Spaniard. German sides Hoffenheim and Borussia Dortmund have been mulling moves for the attacking midfielder, but Wolves are said to be in pole position.
Wolves expect to wrap up a move for the player before the end of next week, and the player should be available for next weekend's Premier League game against Man City.
