Moises Caicedo changes agent as Liverpool and Chelsea chase player
Moises Caicedo will have a big decision to make before the end of the January transfer window, as Premier League giants Chelsea and Liverpool both hope to wrap up a deal for the defensive midfielder. Brighton and Hove Albion appear to be ready to let Caicedo leave the club, in a deal that is likely to be worth close to £55 million.
The midfielder as caught the eye since his arrival in the Premier League, and the player is said to be keen on linking up again with his former coach at Brighton, Graham Potter, with a move to Stamford Bridge. The Blues have already signed 14 players since Todd Boehly took over ownership of the club, and it appears as if he will not stop there as he prepares a move for Ecuador international Caicedo.
Liverpool are also not to be ruled out, though, as Jurgen Klopp has yet to have begun his January transfer business. The Anfield side are looking to add defensive midfield reinforcements, as Jordan Henderson and Fabinho's form at the club has slumped.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal are also not to be excluded from the race to sign the midfielder, but have in recent weeks been linked with a summer move for Declan Rice from West Ham.
