Arsenal planning Raheem Sterling transfer swoop?
Arsenal have been linked with a surprise move for Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling this summer, according to 90min.
The Gunners were fancied to sign the England international from Manchester City in the past but never made an approach.
Instead, they signed his fellow City teammate in Gabriel Jesus. The Brazilian played a huge part during the first part of the season.
Jesus made several goal contributions and he will be hoping to make a similar impact when he returns from his knee injury.
It is now reported that the Gunners could move for Sterling in the summer with manager Mikel Arteta eyeing more experience.
The former Liverpool graduate has a strong relationship with Arteta from their time together at City and could be reunited again.
Chelsea paid close to £50m to land Sterling last summer, but he has hardly impressed for them amid form and injury concerns.
A change in surroundings could revive his career and it remains to be seen whether the Gunners make a serious move for him.
