Arsenal are reportedly leading the race to sign Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta this summer.

The Gunners currently have Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah as their striking options while Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli can also play in the position.

The north London giants could also utilise the services of Folarin Balogun after his loan deal with Reims, but this has not stopped speculation over a new striker.

According to Calciomercato, Juventus have identified Hojlund as a replacement for Dusan Vlahovic. However, Arsenal are leading the race to sign the former.

Hojlund has been dubbed as the new Erling Braut Haaland and the Gunners have already watched him in action on numerous occasions in the Italian top-flight.

The 20-year-old is reportedly open to joining the Premier League this summer but won't come on the cheap. Atalanta are set to demand £50m to sell him.

Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle United are also admirers of the Denmark international, who has five goals from just two Euro 2024 qualifiers.
